Catelyn Sparks, associated with rapper YG, was recently involved in a tragic car accident that led to the passing of an 89-year-old woman, according to sources.
Details provided by law enforcement suggest that Sparks was operating her 2023 Tesla in L.A. on a recent Wednesday when the accident took place. The elderly woman, in a 1985 Cadillac, reportedly made a sudden U-turn, leading Sparks to collide with the driver-side door of the Cadillac.
The unfortunate incident resulted in the immediate death of the 89-year-old, while Sparks was conveyed to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Authorities confirmed that Sparks was not under the influence of any substances, and no criminal activities were identified in the event. The incident was purely accidental.
As for YG and Catelyn’s current relationship status, it remains uncertain. They share two children, but their relationship has witnessed several fluctuations. A few months ago, YG was seen with rapper Saweetie during a vacation in Cabo. Shortly after some pictures from that trip emerged, Sparks shared a vague message on social media, implying possible tensions in their relationship. The post read, “Just because we got the same blood doesn’t make us family & just because we have kids doesn’t mean we’re family, because with ‘family’ like mine? I’d rather not have any.”
