GIGI HADID CONDEMNS THE MURDERS IN ISRAEL… It’s Not Part of the Free Palestine Movement

Gigi Hadid has spoken out regarding the violence in Israel, expressing her sorrow for the loss of “innocent lives” and affirming her steadfast support for Palestine.

On Tuesday, the supermodel voiced her “deep sympathy and distress over the challenges faced by Palestinians living under occupation.” At the same time, she emphasized her obligation to her Jewish friends, stating: “While I envision a brighter future for Palestinians, it never involves causing harm to any Jewish individual.” Gigi, with Palestinian roots, further mentioned, “Intimidating innocent individuals does not resonate with or advance the ‘Free Palestine’ cause.” She believes such perceptions perpetuate a continuous, agonizing cycle of reciprocal hostilities over the years.

Hadid also challenges the misconception that supporting Palestine equates to antisemitism. She concludes her statement by emphasizing that “every individual, irrespective of their nationality, faith, ethnicity, or birthplace, is entitled to fundamental rights, dignity, and safety.”
