Homeland Security Official Confirms Raids at Diddy’s Homes

Homes belonging to Sean “Diddy” Combs in Los Angeles and Miami have been searched by agents from Homeland Security Investigations and additional law enforcement bodies amid suspicions of sex trafficking, as confirmed by U.S. officials on Monday.

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York led the law enforcement activities related to an ongoing probe, with support from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement agencies, as stated by HSI. They pledged to release more details as they become available.

Combs has recently been the subject of several sexual assault claims. Last November, he was accused of sexual misconduct by two women, shortly after reaching a settlement in a different lawsuit brought by singer Cassie that included accusations of rape and physical abuse. These allegations emerged just before the expiration of New York’s Adult Survivors Act, which allows sexual abuse victims to file lawsuits within a specific timeframe, irrespective of the statute of limitations.

Douglas Wigdor, representing Cassie, expressed support for the law enforcement’s efforts to prosecute violators of the law, viewing the recent raids as a step toward holding Mr. Combs accountable for his actions.

Additionally, Combs faced allegations from another woman in December 2023, who claimed she was gang raped by Combs and two others in 2003 at the age of 17, as per the lawsuit filed under New York City’s gender-motivated violence protection law.

Furthermore, a lawsuit was filed last month by a male music producer alleging sexual assault and coercion by Combs into engaging with prostitutes.
