JACKSONVILLE COP SMASHES WINDOW, PUNCHES BLACK DRIVER IN HEAD DURING TRAFFIC STOP — VIDEO GOES VIRAL

JACKSONVILLE, FL (Meeko TV) —
The nation is in shock tonight after explosive footage surfaced of a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Officer violently breaking a young man’s car window and punching him in the face — all during what began as a routine traffic stop.

The victim? 22-year-old William McNeil Jr.
The officer? C.R. Windham
The charge? Not having headlights on in the daylight.

Yes, you read that right.

🔥 RAW VIDEO: Hands Up—Then Fist to the Face

In the now-viral video, McNeil is seen sitting calmly in his vehicle, asking to speak to a supervisor. But within seconds, Officer Windham slams his forearm through the glass, shattering the window — and immediately throws a punch directly into McNeil’s head.

With his hands still up, McNeil is dragged out of the SUV and hit again.

“This is brutality, plain and simple,” said civil rights attorney Ben Crump, now representing McNeil. “He posed no threat. He asked a question. And he got assaulted.”

🏥 Injuries Confirmed

According to his legal team, McNeil suffered:

  • A chipped tooth
  • Nine stitches to his mouth
  • A concussion
  • And ongoing memory loss

This all happened on February 20th, but the video only surfaced publicly this weekend — and the internet is already demanding justice.

🚨 JSO Releases Statement as Backlash Grows

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office claims McNeil refused to exit the vehicle and says the officer “acted within protocol.” But Attorney Harry Daniels says the footage shows the exact opposite:

“He was calm. He was respectful. He knew his rights — and they broke glass and broke skin anyway.”

JSO says an internal affairs investigation is underway. But with national attention now pouring in, activists are calling for Officer Windham’s immediate suspension and a Department of Justice probe.

⚠️ Not the First Time…

This isn’t Jacksonville PD’s first scandal involving Black drivers. In 2023, viral bodycam footage showed officers beating Le’Keian Woods. And in 2019, Jamee Johnson was fatally shot during another so-called “routine stop.”

Now, Meeko TV asks: How many more?
