Trump has entered the courtroom ahead of his expected testimony at his civil fraud trial
Before making his way into the courtroom, former President Donald Trump, accompanied by his legal representatives Chris Kise and Alina Habba, addressed the media in the corridor.
Legal counsel for both parties have convened in the courtroom in anticipation of Trump’s forthcoming testimony in his ongoing civil fraud trial.
New York Attorney General Letitia James made her appearance in the court prior to them, proceeding to the section where her legal team was assembled to consult with them.
In attendance are two of Trump’s criminal defense attorneys, Todd Blanche and Susan Necheles. They are managing Trump’s defense in the criminal proceedings initiated by the New York district attorney concerning an alleged payment made in 2016 to silence adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
The courtroom is primarily occupied by members of the press, with seats filled to capacity.
A few seating rows have been designated for the general public. From those rows, Attorney General James acknowledged an acquaintance with a gesture.
